3 Stage Levels - Landscape

This exercise was to investigate the 3 different ways in which we can  change the levels on a photograph. We used auto first, which although can be a handy tool for the inexperienced photoshopper,  should not be used at this level because your eye is a far better indicator of the effect you want to achieve. Changing levels manually (using the sliders) is a suitable alternative because then the whole effect created is in your hands. Also depending on whether you want to do s slight retouch or a crazy edit this helps achieve that the best because you are totally in control.  The other alternative is to use the eyedropper tools to pin point where the black, white, and grey areas should be, but this is only necessarily helpful for an edit where you want the picture to look correct contrast wise.
